Urban Daddy reports that Ikura sushi opens on Newbury Street today. It's run by a former sushi chef for the New England Patriots (Tom Brady deserves only the freshest fish), and it features more than 100 varieties of maki. Most intriguing is a Playboy Roll with shrimp tempura and tuna, reportedly "dripped with whiskey and blowtorched tableside," which sounds nearly as dramatic as many recent Pats games.

Ikura, 254 Newbury St., Boston
