This is sad: The Broken Yolk, a mainstay breakfast haunt near Powderhouse Circle, has shut down after nearly a decade in business. Boston Restaurant Talk reports that it'll be replaced by Noor Mediterranean Grill, offering native delicacies like shish kebab, shawarma, and falafel (competition for Amsterdam down the street?).

BRT notes that Noor should open in November. Check out their minimalistic website right here, which promises something "quite cool" to come.
