Chowhound and Boston Restaurant Talk report that the temperature has cooled at the South End's 28 Degrees. The restaurant closed on September 5, leaving a note on the door that they're on the prowl for "an exciting new space on Appleton Street." They also left a note on their Facebook page, thanking customers for "eight wonderful years in Boston's South End; however, all good things must come to an end." In memoriam, a shot of their comfy patio.
