Ana Sortun's Sarma will open by the end of next week

Chef Ana Sortun tells us that her newest restaurant, Somerville's Sarma, will open at 249 Pearl St. by the end of next week. We interviewed Sortun back in August about what it takes to open a second restaurant (she also runs the lovely Oleana and Sofra bakery). More recently, Boston magazine offered a preview of the Winter Hill mezze parlor's exotic cocktails. Oleana's Cassie Piuma will run Sarma's kitchen, and Island Creek Oyster Bar veteran Vikram Hegde will handle the bar program.
