Patty Chen's Dumpling Room hopes to open this week, launches catering service

Owner Marc Shulman writes that his dumpling parlor "hopes to open this week." The restaurant's Facebook page notes that they're undergoing inspections today. Still, if you can't control your dumpling desires, there's good news: They've already launched delivery service.

With three hours' notice, they'll deliver a Taiwan Home Style Bento Box to the comfort of your own home or office. The meal includes a Taiwan finger sandwich; a box of steamed rice; beef, chicken, or vegetarian teriyaki; a spicy pickle medley; tea egg; a seasonal veggie, daikon radish, and bubble tea. At $15.75, it's not a bad deal at all. You'll need six or more people, and you need to live or toil within a two-mile radius of the restaurant (907 Main St., Cambridge).
