Competition for Mike's Pastry? Pinkberry's rep tells us that the North End shop plans to officially debut tomorrow, with a soft opening happening this evening. A Davis Square outpost remains in the works. The national chain has a cadre of devotees across the country, but we're told that local Pinkberries plan to play up its neighborhood sourcing, working more closely with regional ingredients, including using milk from dairies in Maine. Stop by tonight for free fro-yo samples.

Pinkberry, 285 Hanover St., Boston
