No need to panic yet, but ... BostInno unearthed a weekend Tweet from Mario Batali wherein he declared that Babbo Pizzeria's Fort Point opening isn't "looking good right now." What? His reps confirmed the 320 Summer St. opening to me back in April, and, at the time, Batali was downright effusive on Twitter, exclaiming "Babbopizzeria! Wheeeeeeeeee!" No reply from Babbo's reps yet, but stay tuned. Hopefully it's a logistical issue, and Mario isn't permanently pulling his pizza from Fort Point.

Update: No Babbo at all. Now this, from the chef's Tumblr:
"B&B Hospitality Group is saddened to announce that the project called Babbo Pizzeria and Enoteca originally slated for a fourth quarter open date in the exciting Fort Point district in Boston will not come to fruition. We will continue to look for the perfect location to serve the exciting and vibrant Boston community."
