Downtown's venerable Barking Crab has big changes in store. A rep for the seafood shack says that they've added a raw bar and slashed their menu in half, going for a smaller roster that spotlights local fish. At the svelter Crab, you'll find Maine lobsters, Atlantic scrod, Rhode Island squid, and Cape cod clams. They'll also sell $1 oysters at the raw bar and add a variety of local beers, many from Harpoon down the street. Why the switch? Maybe it's because Ben Korman, a longtime manager at Jasper White's Summer Shack, has taken over GM duties.
