Chef Michael Leviton confirms to us that his newest project, A4, opens today. Area Four chef Jeff Pond is at the helm at this smaller pizzeria on Somerville Ave.; he'll mix popular pizzas from Kendall Square's Area Four with quirkier, experimental pies. They're open from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. today and tomorrow, with a formal opening happening on Monday. Track 'em on Twitter for more information. And do note: Eater Boston reports that the restaurant is outfitted with Atari.

A4, 445 Somerville Ave., Somerville, 617-764-4190
