Boston Restaurant Talk notes via BostonChefs that the Renaissance Boston Waterfront's 606 Congress shuttered this weekend. A rep tells us that chef Rich Garcia remains on staff as executive chef at the Renaissance. The hotel soon welcomes MC Medici, with an "Italian renaissance theme." The restaurant will be run by the successful team behind Ogunquit's upscale Arrows, James Beard award-winners Mark Gaier and Clark Frasier. A rep tell us today that MC Medici should open mid-fall.
