Eater Boston reports that Kung Fu Tea is "slated for a space next to Red Mango by the Symphony T station," according to signage. The tea parlor also has plans to open in Chinatown, and an Allston location opened in February. The New York City-based chain is known for martial-arts-themed beverages. On offer at the Allston branch: Kung Fu coffee, Kung Fu green tea, Kung Fu bubble tea, and slush.
Meanwhile, Boston Restaurant Talk reports that Canadian tea shop DavidsTea will open at the Street Chestnut Hill. This shop has a more soothing vibe: In addition to the requisite assortment of black, green, oolong, and roobois, they have kettles, frothers, and tins for the devoted drinker.
