Chef Brian Poe (Poe's at the Rattlesnake, Estelle's, The Tip Tap Room) comes to the Revere Hotel on July 30 for their Reel Chefs series. The monthly series features dinner tailored to a favorite movie — in this case, it's 1979's The Muppet Movie — all in sweet, blissful air-conditioning. See Poe's Muppet-themed menu ahead, hopefully concocted with help from the Swedish chef.

Act 1:
Doc Hopper's French Fried Frog's legs
Black eyed pea and green bean salsa, cream corn basil puree

Scene 2:
Miss Bogen County Fair braised Pork Belly
Cilantro charred tomatoes, hushpuppies

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Pie with Animal Crackers

The event kicks off at 6:30 with Muppet-themed drinks. Tickets are $50 per person; get them here. Sadly, the menu won't offer Waldorf salad or Dr. Bunson Honeydew melon smoothies.
