Charlestown's Tavern on the Water, which closed last fall, will be replaced by Pier 6. Boston Restaurant Talk reports that the upcoming restaurant is owned by the team behind Mija Cantina and Tequila Bar in Faneuil Hall. And those of us who bemoan the lack of decent waterfront dining here in town might have reason to smile: A prominent chef is at the helm. Greg Reeves, who earned fans cooking at Central Square's Green Street Grill, will head up the kitchen. Expect "American fare and seafood," says BRT, and a possible July opening — still plenty of time to enjoy the warm-weather scenery.
