Menotomy Grill & Tavern opens today
Once upon a time, Arlington was a dry town. Today it welcomes its very own tavern, perched conveniently on the Cambridge line at 25 Mass Ave. Menotomy Grill & Tavern is helmed by longtime Chez Henri chef Mark Thompson and restaurateur Billy Lyons. (Another owner is Paul Krepelka, who once made headlines for dating Jenny McCarthy.) The 150-seat restaurant, complete with a summertime patio and a cozy winter fireplace, has a people-pleasing menu that skips across various cuisines (and, crucially, includes fried pickles). Check it out ahead, and consider making a pitstop next time you're simmering in traffic on the Alewife Brook Parkway.
