Just in time for summer, too: The Patch reports that Retro Burger will open at 795 Mass Ave, replacing the old Cakes bakery. Right now, there's a Retro Burger on Cape Cod, but owner Bill Maund, an Arlington native, wants to bring the burgers to Boston. Which is good news for us: The menu looks sinful and fun.

Expect chili cheese dogs, fries, onion rings, wings, variously topped hot dogs, and ice cream. Like any good dog and burger shack, this place also has tons of condiments, including their very own chili. Their motto? "Like a snowflake, no two burgers are identical." But all of them are at least half a pound.

Expect Retro Burger to open soon, hopefully in the next couple of months.
