"Well its time to say goodbye to the Grande Dame of Davis Sq. Tonite we close our doors for good. So come down say goodbye to the club and staff and have one last song.” That was the message on the Facebook page of the Rosebud Bar and Grill in Somerville, which, along with the Rosebud Diner is gone, for now. Rosebud has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1999. It’s been reported that Marty Bloom, the founder of the Vinny Testa’s chain, was purchasing Rosebud and planning changes to the space and the menu. For sure, stay tuned here, as there will be more to come.
