Autumn scenes

It's that time of year again, the Earth's northern hemisphere is tipping away from the warmth of the Sun. Days in the north are getting cooler and shorter, leaves are changing, animals migrating and many harvests are underway. The wet summer in New England this year should make 2009 a banner year for brightly-colored fall foliage in the area. Collected here are a group of photographs of recent Autumn scenes around the northern hemisphere. (32 photos total)

A group of Common Cranes gather in dawn light, on a lake in the German state of Brandenburg, close to Berlin September 26, 2009. From September to November tens of thousands of Cranes use the rural area close to the German Capital for a stopover during their migration from Scandinavia and Eastern Europe to their wintering quarters in Spain. The agricultural plains surrounding Berlin are among the biggest crane roosts in Europe with several tens of thousands birds gathering during the peak of migration. (REUTERS/Thomas Krumenacker)

Autumn is probably the nicest of all seasons! The colors, the sunsets/sunrises. Definitely my favorite season.

Cranberries field is really nice. I'm a little sad that so many pictures were from Presque Isle, Maine even though they are really nice pics.

Just up north, there is Québec & New Brunswick which have some really impressive autumn scenes too. In fact there is a national park named Parc National des Haute-Gorges-de-la-rivière-Malbaie who had some really fabulous autumn colors. Here is four pictures of the scene http://caissy.ca/2009/acropole-des-draveurs/

Just drive around all the dirt roads we have here, stay away from tourist trap.

If you want Maple Syrup goto a farm on a dirt road with sign saying maple syrup, don't buy from rest area or near information booth, way overpriced.

these pics are so amazing,so colorful,i find it so hard to believe there are such scenic places as the pictured ones, that incredible beauty, the way God fashioned the earth,so beautiful,so lush,so green.i like this blog because it draws attention to what really matters and conveys by means of pictures, which speak louder than words and make them even more realistic,i also like the fact that we are able to share our opinions and it is a platform for discussion, and to #227,you should not be thanking mother earth, treat it well, but thank the One who created it and all the things therein, because our earth too declares His praise and thanks HIm.
