Spoiler alert: For those of you who haven't read the books or watched last night's "Game of Thrones," ignore this post.
For those of you who watched last night's episode, that was one of the most heart-wrenching, gory scenes we've taken in during the series -- which is really saying something.
"GOT" bookworms, we know you've been waiting for this scene. From what I've been hearing, it's far more bloody on screen than it was in the books. (There was no future Ned Stark on the way, for example.)
Just when you thought something good would happen for the Stark family. That things would maybe work out. That maybe Arya would reunite with her family. That mother Catelyn Stark and son Robb would sort out their differences. But, of course, that didn't happen, because this is "GOT," and this show loves breaking your heart (still not over Ned Stark's death).
I was relieved of some of the emotional distress I suffered after watching the Red Wedding scene when a friend sent me this video. It made me feel better. For a second.
For those of you still reeling from the episode, you're not alone. Did you watch the episode last night? Did you see this coming? For you readers, was it more graphic on screen? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
