Beverly got to celebrate hometown girl Angie Miller when the "American Idol" contestant returned to the North Shore for a triumphant visit, taped for Wednesday's performance show.
Miller, who has advanced to the top three contestants on the competition, was tearfully joyful during an outdoor concert for fans and happily reunited with her family, friends, and Fluffy, her cat.
Miller also received high marks from the judges for her three performances.
Mariah Carey declared that the teen had found her home on the stage with her rendition of "Try" by Pink and Keith Urban noted how comfortable she has become. Nicki Minaj praised Miller's growth and said that she had surpassed expectations with her version of Emeli Sande's "Maybe." And Randy Jackson said that Miller has become a "complete" performer.
Thursday night Miller will discover if she advances to next week's finale and a shot at becoming the next "American Idol."
