Although some viewers were likely shocked, no one appeared more surprised than Tim Urban himself that he had been granted a reprieve.
A few quick thoughts on the results after the jump.
Given how dismal both nights were, a large percentage of the field was vulnerable to the chopping block but it was Joe Munoz, Tyler Grady, Janell Wheeler, and local gal Ashley Rodriguez who got the heave-ho. It's too bad about Rodriguez since she showed more promise prior to her live debut and there were definitely worse performances than hers.
Hopefully, there's nowhere to go but up, but I'm not feeling optimistic.
