True Blood 10 p.m., HBO2

I gotta say, the whole black-eyeball thing really creeps me out, even while it makes me laugh. When Maryann casts her spell, everyone in Bon Temps looks completely vacant and yet stupid drunk. This week’s episode delves further into the eyes thing than ever, with intense close-ups of Tara’s demonic pupils as she spews venom like Linda Blair in “The Exorcist’’ and with a point-of-view shift that lets us see what the hypnotized are seeing. Only two more episodes left this season, which is just plain tragic.

Hung 9:30 p.m., HBO

While the business about Ray’s family is the weakest part of this show, the friendship between Ray and Tanya is the sweetest. The funniest element may be Rebecca Creskoff as Lenore, Tanya’s brash former co-worker, who gives Tanya great pimping advice about what women want. I’d love to see more of her as the series develops.

Stranger Among Bears 9 p.m., Animal Planet

“No Exit,’’ by Christopher Robin.

Alien Earths 10 p.m., National Geographic

Also known, less dramatically, as planets.

Into the Pride 8 p.m., Animal Planet

Coming out, lion style.

Marked 9 p.m., History Channel

Prison tattoos, or Penal Mapquest.

Clean House 9 and 10 p.m., Style

Sweeping entertainment.
