1. Triumph the Insult Comic Dog
Inspired by Borscht Belt comedians Don Rickles and Milton Berle, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is a Yugoslavian Mountain Hound who's not afraid to demolish the sensitive and sacred. Created by writer Robert Smigel (who is also responsible for SNL's "Ambiguously Gay Duo"), Triumph's brash sensibilities are unleashed sporadically on unsuspecting gatherings such as the Great American Beer Festival in Denver, the Tony Awards, and Tennessee's Bonnaroo Music Festival. Absolutely nobody is spared from his scathing repartee, like when he he visited Bon Jovi's homecoming concert in New Jersey and asked a paying patron, "Wouldn't it have been better to wait until next year when they're playing Six Flags?"
