Cambridge orchestra wins prestigious award

The Cambridge-based Mercury Orchestra has been awarded The American Prize in Orchestra Performance.
The judges, in naming the two-year-old orchestra conducted by Channing Yu, praised the Mercury for "obviously careful and thoughtful preparation... excellent interpretations."
