Thanks to the vagaries of touring schedules, Boston's downtown theaters will have a busier summer than usual. The national tours of "Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons" and "The Color Purple" will both visit, along with a touring production of "Rent" that includes original cast members Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, and Gwen Stewart.
