Which city runs the most? That's easy.

As if it was ever in question, The Daily Beast, that Tina Brown website determined to create a list for all things you absolutely don't care about (America's most stoned city? Check), teamed up with Daily Burn, another fast-growing site, to determine how far runners run in the biggest cities. Topping the top 10 list is, of course, Boston. Though the number of miles the Beast claims as the average weekly total for Boston runners is a pretty paltry 7.85, we do agree with the favorite running spot: The Charles River. Though the path through the Emerald Necklace and along the Jamaica Way is hard to ignore.
Dailyburn.com, by the way, is pretty cool. It's a website and iPhone app where you can enter and track running distance and other geeky numbers, like calories burned off.
Okay, back to our regularly scheduled culture. But in case you're a runner, too, ignore the dreary weather today, because brighter days are ahead.

About the blog
"Media Remix" is where couch potatoes meet pop culture criticism. What does Honey Boo Boo say about class issues in America ? Is The Real Housewives anti-feminist? Does Lady Gaga empower gay fans, or patronize them? And where'd I put the remote control? If you love knowing about the latest in movies, TV, music and social media - and analyzing the politics of The Apprentice - grab a seat with "Media Remix."
