Prince was explaining why he won't release his music -- including his new album, "20Ten" -- through iTunes or any other online outlet. "The Internet is completely over," he told the British newspaper. "I don't see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won't pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can't get it."
Instead -- get this -- Prince will give away copies of the album with Saturday's edition of the Mirror, according to Billboard magazine. He has similiar deals with Rolling Stone's German edition and with a Belgian newspaper, Billboard reported.
Prince went on to say: "The Internet's like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated." He also said he doesn't like digital devices: "All these computers and digital gadgets are no good," he said. "They just fill your head with numbers and that can't be good for you."
Talk about partying like it's 1999.
