"I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue."

"I want you guys to know that if we ever get into really heavy combat? I'll be right behind you guys. Every step of the way."

"It's in the hole!"

Recognize those movie lines? Some of my personal favorites. But none of them made this list from Turner Classic Movies of the best comedy lines from classic movies. Turner released the list this week in honor of its Just for Laughs comedy festival in Chicago. It's a pretty good list, no question, especially since it includes maybe the most quoted line from Animal House. (C'mon, you know the one. It starts with one word: "Over?" Still not sure? Okay, here's the clip. Don't laugh too loud at your desk.)

But I'm sure they forgot a few great lines, so to help you out, here's a list from a while back of Bravo's 100 funniest films. Browse it and post your favorite funny line. And don't call me Shirley.

About the blog

"Media Remix" is where couch potatoes meet pop culture criticism. What does Honey Boo Boo say about class issues in America ? Is The Real Housewives anti-feminist? Does Lady Gaga empower gay fans, or patronize them? And where'd I put the remote control? If you love knowing about the latest in movies, TV, music and social media - and analyzing the politics of The Apprentice - grab a seat with "Media Remix."
