Roller derby

Mark your calendar for
Dec. 9th…

…because that evening you'll have a chance to see a horde of fearless girls in short-shorts and mini-skirts duke it out on rollerskates.

The Boston Derby Dames are bringing live roller derby action to Shriners Auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 9th. Doors open at 5 p.m., the bout starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $14 in advance, and group discounts are available (hey, you could plan a crazy holiday night out with your co-workers).

And if you’re totally clueless as to what the sport is about, watch this TV segment I did for New England Cable News last year. (FYI, fellow Firefox fans - the video will only play in Internet Explorer browsers.)
