The fries: Belgian-style fries with an array of dipping sauces. The ones I tried were Ole Chipotle, Bacon Parmesan (served warm), Saturday Night Chive, and Vampire Slayer.
My take: It's no secret Americans love to dip their food, and Saus urges just that with their 11 different, tasty sauces. The pommes frites, which are fried twice, are crispy and greasy, and each sauce has a unique flavor and consistency. I liked the garlicky vampire slayer the best -- but it's not for the faint of heart (or tastebuds). "We encourage people to try more [sauces] because that's part of the experience," said co-owner Tanya Kropinicki.
