Don't let the title throw you too much of a curveball. Just because it is underground, doesn't make it exclusive. As a matter of fact, this weekend's New England Underground Music Festival has one of the more diverse and welcoming lineups of any local music event this fall.

This Friday at Elk's Lodge in Cambridge and Saturday at the Democracy Center, join Bodies of Water Shows and a lineup of over forty acts and discover some new sounds from our kickass corner of the States. Household names like Quilt, Pile, Ryan Power, and Happy Jawbone Family Band alone make this worth the sweet price of ten to fifteen dollars donation per day. While you're there though, keep your ears open for new talent cropping up all over the sweet northeast. See below for the full lineup.
