It was quite a week for new music, with a trio of bands gracing us with new songs for the first time in a long time.

Kings Of Leon debuted their new song "Supersoaker," which will be featured on their forthcoming album 'Mechanical Bull,' out September 24. Reviewers are saying the track is reminiscent of the sound on their sophomore album 'A-Ha Shake Heartbreak.' We agree.

Pearl Jam announced a new album and tour this past week, too. 'Lightning Bolt' will be out on October 15, the same day the band headlines the DCU Center in Worcester. Here's "Mind Your Manners," which is decidedly punky.

Remember Mazzy Star? Their biggest hit, "Fade Into You," was released almost 20 years ago. But the band is back with a new album, 'Seasons Of Your Day,' out September 24. Listen to "California."
