Sending your article's latest offering from the Editorial page, Boston.Comment, is our new favorite thing on the site today.

A new blog edited by Globe columnist Joanna Weiss, Boston.Comment will feature opinion from community leaders and experts on one issue every day. The launch this morning sparked a debate about whether Friday's city-wide lockdown was necessary or overkill, and has already generated hundreds of comments on the post and social media.

Weiss stepped over to the RadioBDC studio this morning to tell Henry and Julie about her new project, and talk about Friday's "shelter in place" recommendation from city and state officials.

Listen to the whole conversation here, and join the debate on Boston.Comment and on Twitter, with the hashtag #bostonlockdown.

Full disclosure: It's possible that I'm biased about the awesomeness of this blog, as the producer on the project. But I still think it's really cool.
