Our friends from Boston Children's Hospital stopped in again this morning to talk about a "HAIRraising" event this weekend. Salons up and down the Back Bay and beyond have reopened with a mission to fundraise support for patients and families of Boston Children's Hospital.

This Sunday, April 28, the HAIRrasing cut-a-thon will see twenty of Newbury Street's best salons offering $40 do's to benefit the hospital's Emergency and Trauma Fund.

In its third year, HAIRraising, (founded by legendary stylist John Freida and his business partner, Gail Federici), has already raised over $300,000 for Children's Hospital, and this year, over 70 participating salons throughout New England are expected to raise another $100,000.

Listen to the interview with Henry and Julie, and watch a video of this morning's style session. Then, don't forget to stop by a participating salon and freshen up your look for Spring and help out a great cause.

Lookin' goooood...
