RadioBDC is serious about our commitment to great music, so every Tuesday we scour the Boston music scene to pick out the best of the best.

Here are this week's picks.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

The Paradise hosts now-classic rockers EELS and Nicole Atkins for a must-see mid-week show. ($25 / 18+ / Doors at 7 p.m.)

Chicagoans The Orwells are at T.T. the Bear's Place with The Kingston Springs and Nice Guys. ($10 / All ages / Doors at 8:30 p.m.)

Thursday, Feb. 28

Icelandic electro-pop outfit FM Belfast are with Child Actor at Great Scott. ($12 / 18+ / Doors at 9 p.m.)

Sean Bones, Boytoy and Velah will rock T.T. the Bear's Place. ($9 / 18+ / Doors at 9 p.m.)

Friday, March 1

The Middle East Upstairs has a double-header on Friday, an early show and a late show. The doors open at 6 p.m. for Hess Is More and The Okay Win, followed by Pilot To Gunner, Great Lakes USA and Devil on Horseback. ($10 / 18+ / Doors at 9 p.m.)

Saturday, March 2

It'll be hard to pick which of these sure-to-be-great shows to hit up, but at least one of them will strike your fancy.

Hilarious duo Tenacious D and Sasquatch are at House of Blues. ($50 / 18+ / Doors at 6 p.m.)

English quartet Alt-J are playing a sold-out show at the Paradise. Cross your fingers that some fall into your lap. ($20 / 18+ / Doors at 8 p.m.)

Black Board Nails, Elcodrive, When Particles Collide and All Echos Return are at the Middle East Upstairs ($10 / 18+ / Doors at 8 p.m.)

Unknown Mortal Orchestra is playing with Foxygen and Wampire at Brighton Music Hall. ($13 / 18+ / Doors at 8 p.m.)

Sunday, March 3

It's Alt-J's second night at the 'Dise, in case you can't make up your mind choosing between all the great shows on Saturday. ($20 / 18+ / Doors at 7 p.m.)

Also, this is one of the craziest videos I've ever seen check it out.

Check back every Tuesday for more local shows.
