Last night, music industry big-wigs celebrated the 55th Grammyzzzzz...

Sorry. Dozed off for a minute there. Awards shows have that effect on me. The Grammys, especially. My feelings on the subject can be summed up in the following series of tweets that I tweeted on Twitter last night. Tweet.

Now, that's not to say the night didn't have some fantastic moments. Isn't that the great thing about the day and age we live in? We don't actually have to sit through a disjointed, uncomfortable awards show. We can just read some mook's blog post the next day and get all the good stuff, like Mumford & Sons performing "I Will Wait."

The Black Keys jammed on "Lonely Boy," aided by Dr. John and The Preservation Hall Jazz band.

Jack White was on hand and threw down "Love Interruption" and "Freedom at 21."

Nice to see our old friend The Lumineers on the Grammy stage, too.

Oh yeah, The Black Keys and Mumford & Sons won some Grammys, too. Couldn't tell you how many or for what. Because statues don't matter. Ask Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam. He keeps his on the floor of a closet.
