"Mozipedia: The Encyclopedia of Morrissey and The Smiths," Simon Goddard
Deliciously irreverent, this is required reading for Morrissey fanatics. From "A" (a-ha, the '80s pop band he admired) to "Y" (Timi Yuro, one of his favorite singers), "Mozipedia" tallies all sorts of dishy tidbits about Moz — who knew that he liked "Cagney & Lacey"? — including his early influences (Sandie Shaw, David Bowie) and entries on every song he recorded alone and with the Smiths. Morrissey didn't collaborate on the book, but Goddard quotes from a trove of his previous interviews, along with commentary from other musicians.
