Lexington's hometown boy, Matt Nathanson, will head home to the Bay State for a pair of shows with Gavin DeGraw this summer.

The peppy pop duo will play the Blue Hill Bank Pavilion (formerly the Bank of America Pavilion) on Aug. 23, and the Cape Cod Melody Tent on Aug. 24.

Nathanson and DeGraw announced the tour with the video above on Monday morning. The summer dates will also feature Mary Lambert (she sings the hook on "Same Love") and Andrew McMahon.

If you need a Monday mood booster, give Nathanson's 2008 hit "Come On Get Higher" and a DeGraw throwback, "I Don't Want to Be" (2003) a whirl.
