Ahead of a new album in May and an expected tour to support it, the Cars are offering a sneak preview of what's in store for their hotly anticipated reunion. The original lineup of the beloved Boston band -- minus bassist Benjamin Orr, who died of cancer in 2000 -- will release "Move Like This" on May 10. Yesterday the group, which split up in 1988, posted a YouTube video (above) for "Blue Tip," an exuberant electro-pop ditty that suggests the Cars have one foot in the '80s and the other in 2011. We like it, especially for how terrific singer Ric Ocasek sounds. You can hear snippets of other new songs on the band's Facebook page.
