Premier piano pounders Elton John and Billy Joel are teaming up again for their Face 2 Face tour, which stops at Gillette Stadium on July 18. It'll be the duo's only New England performance this year.
The format will be much like it was when John and Joel first joined forces in 1994. They'll begin in a duet format, facing each other on twin pianos and swapping vocals. They will then perform their own individual sets before closing with an encore together.
Tickets for the Gillette show -- which range from $54.50, $99.50, and $179.50 -- go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m. at www.ticketmaster.com and 866-448-7849. And we don't need to tell you that this one will sell out faster than you can yelp your way through the chorus of "Bennie and the Jets."
