If you like anything that's rock 'n roll and you find waiting to be the hardest part then stop draggin' your heart around and get to the Middle East Upstairs tonight at 9. A bunch of Tom Petty lovin' locals- including the Brendan Boogie Band, the Great Bandini, and the Rationales - will be paying tribute to the Gainesville rocker and his tremendous back catalog with and without the Heartbreakers. Remember to save the last dance for Mary Jane. That voice you hear hollering "Change of Heart" will likely belong to one third of the "Sound Effects" team. The show is 18-plus, doors are at 9, and tix are $10 at the door. Those who also cotton to the Man in Black might want to wander between this show and the Johnny Cash tribute happening in the Middle East Corner.
