In the beginning of the summer there were no reggae festivals. And then Jah said, let there be three reggae festivals, preferably within one two week period at the end of August all at that nice Bank of America Pavilion by the water. And it was done and it was Irie.
Now Live Nation is offering up a threefer package deal for those who just can't make up their ganja-addled minds about which show to attend. Is it the Reggae Sunsplash with UB40, Maxi Priest, Toots and the Maytals, Third World and Rik Rok on August 19, The Roots Rock Reggae Festival with Ziggy and Stephen Marley, Bunny Wailer, Ozomatli and Jon Nicholson on the 24th or The One Love Festival with Buju Banton, Gregory Isaacs, Capleton, Cocoa Tea, Assassin and Elan & the Live Wyya Band on the 31st?
We know which one we'd choose but hey, maybe you want to go to all three. If so, get down to the Bank of America Pavilion box office-- the only place the "Mega Reggae" tix package is available-- and you can pick up tickets for one show for $35, two shows for $60 and all three for $75.
