Cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han are regularly described as one of classical music’s power couples, and not just because they’re the artistic directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center and their Internet-based ArtistLed label, which they established in 1997, has been a model for other independent artist-owned labels. They bring that power to the stage, and it showed in the Mendelssohn program that, under the auspices of the Celebrity Series, they offered at Jordan Hall Sunday afternoon: the Cello Sonata No. 2, and then, with violinist Philip Setzer, the two piano trios.
