Considering the plethora of Jewish songwriters in the music business, why aren't there more Hanukkah tunes? Maybe it's because Irving Berlin and Lieber and Stoller were too busy writing Christmas songs. The two Festival of Lights anthems every modern Jew does know, ''Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel" and Adam Sandler's shout-out to Tinseltown congregants, while not without their charms, aren't exactly specimens ...
