The latest edition of RadioBDC’s “Live in the Lab” series featured five-piece Seattle rock band Minus the Bear. The band performed three songs including “Diamond Lightning” off their latest album, “Infinity Overhead.”

The band was formed in 2001 and has since released five albums. Their most recent album, which consists of 10 tracks, was released on Aug. 28.

The Dangerbird Records release,“Infinity Overhead,” was produced by the band’s former keyboardist and synth player, Matt Bayles.

Minus the Bear is currently on the road for their fall 2012 tour, with a stop at Boston’s Royale for a sold out show on Sept. 27. The tour ends in the band’s hometown in November.

The band celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2011 with a tour that featured songs off their “Highly Refined Pirates” album and songs from the first EP “This Is What I Know About Being Gigantic.”
