Director Ondi Timoner ("Dig!") documents the twisted journey of Josh Harris, Internet visionary, utopian dictator, narcissistic clown. After founding Jupiter Communications and Pseudo.com and making a mint in the dot-com bubble of the 1990s, Harris got ideologically inspired and created Quiet, a community in which several hundred Manhattan hipoisie lived, ate, created, and made love on around the clock Web-feeds. Oh, and they weren't allowed to leave. Timoner, who was there, edits the footage into a jaw-dropper that predicts reality TV, Facebook, and complete societal breakdown.
