We can sort of see it. Affleck has that natural brooding quality required for such a complicated, conflicted character (see: "The Town"). And he can certainly portray the necessary jerky arrogance to play Bruce Wayne (see: "Mallrats"). Plus, he's Ben Affleck. The looks aren't in question.
But then again, he fell very short of superheroic in 2003's "Daredevil."
Will Affleck succeed like Christian Bale in "The Dark Knight" trilogy or Michael Keaton in Tim Burton's pair of "Batman" films? Or will he flop like Val Kilmer and George Clooney in the '90s movies? Is Affleck the right choice? If not, who would you rather see play Bruce Wayne?
