Is it too soon?

Eric Johnson and Paul Tamasay, the screenwriters behind the "The Fighter," have acquired features rights to the upcoming book "Boston Strong," according to Deadline writer Dominic Patten. The project will chronicle the Hub's reaction to the Boston Marathon bombings.

"Boston Strong" will be penned by Casey Sherman, a Hyannis-born true crime author behind works such as "Black Irish," as well as Boston Herald reporter Dave Wedge, and the book is scheduled to be published in 2014 by University Press of New England, Deadline reports.

As the titular motto goes, Boston is a tough city, but do you think it's too soon for this book to hit the big screen? Or do you think it's a good idea? Let us know how you feel about it in the comments.

In any case, we should have a couple of years to prepare for the trailers.
