Superman flies back into theaters on June 14, but select fans can get the ultimate bragging rights over their friends by seeing the new reboot "Man of Steel" a day early.
More than 3,700 Walmart stores, including branches in Quincy, Lynn, Framingham, and Salem, will be selling tickets to the nationwide advanced screening starting this Saturday, May 18, at 8 a.m. The screening will take place Thursday, June 13, at 7 p.m. Tickets will be limited to four per customer.
Each store will sell tickets to a different theater, but participating venues include Regal Fenway Stadium 13, Showcase Cinema de Lux Revere, and Liberty Tree Mall 20 in Danvers. Check the full list for participating stores and corresponding theaters.
"Man of Steel," which cost more than $200 million to produce, aims to duplicate the success of Christopher Nolan's recent Batman trilogy. Nolan is on hand as a producer of the film and a star-studded cast, including Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, and Diane Lane, lends heft to the movie. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think.
What do you expect from the film? Will you see "Man of Steel"? Are you planning to try to get early tickets?
