Grumpy Cat A.K.A. Tardar Sauce has reached her latest peak of fame, penning a movie deal with Broken Road Productions' Todd Garner and Sean Robins, according to Deadline.com. Plot and co-star details are pretty much unknown at this time, but what we want to know is: Will the cranky internet famous cat -- who achieved much of her acclaim by scowling at the camera on YouTube -- do her own stunts?
According to BuzzFeed, her manager confirmed that the flick "will be live-action, and Grumpy Cat herself — not a cartoon or CGI stand-in — will appear on screen."
If this all feels a little trivial or silly -- OK, that's because it is -- let us just reiterate that Grumpy Cat ranked numero uno on our list of top 10 Internet cat sensations this year. Also, she won the Webby Award for Meme of the Year, which may or may not be a big deal in certain circles.
What do you think of the Grumpy Cat film deal? About darn time... or end of days?
