Will Ferrell provides 'security' at Lakers game
As we await Will Ferrell's "Anchorman" sequel (now co-starring another "Saturday Night Live" veteran, Kristen Wiig), the quirky funnyman is keeping his name in the headlines in Hollywood.
Decked out in a red jacket and donning a sizable mustache, Ferrell posed as a security guard at last night's basketball game at Staples Center in Los Angeles, even ejecting former Lakers and Celtics center (and known comedy fan) Shaquille O'Neal.
During a break in the action between the Lakers and Phoenix Suns, Ferrell escorted Shaq from his seat. See the video below.
This isn't Ferrell's first attention-grabbing move at an NBA game. Last year, he provided humorous player introductions for the New Orleans Hornets and in 2011, he and his "Step Brothers" and "Talladega Nights" co-star John C. Reilly shared an intimate moment on the Kiss Cam at a Lakers game.
Along with "Anchorman: The Legend Continues," Ferrell is set to appear in "The Internship" this year, alongside Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn.
